Heritage Estate’s beautiful 40-acre vineyard, farmhouse, winery and cidery production facility started because of the founder’s vision for the little parcel of paradise located to the northeast of Barrie. Their hard work and passion since 2014 have brought Heritage Estate from its humble beginnings to today, producing award-winning wines and ciders, and creating a hospitable place to come visit, tour and taste.

Cabernet Franc VQA
This grape variety is considered the stalwart among the reds in
Ontario. The wine was oak matured for 14 months using French
and American oak. On the nose, there are aromas of black berry fruit
intermingling with black pepper, a hint of aniseed and vanilla. In the
background is a subtle smoky oak aroma that adds to the complexity
of the bouquet. This is a medium-bodied wine with finesse and a very
good length. Pair with beef dishes, all kinds of soup, venison and even
your favourite burgers.

Cabernet Sauvignon
These grapes were in excellent condition at 24 degrees Brix. They were crushed, fermented and oak matured here at Stonechurch cellars. On the nose are aromas of black currant, blueberry and sweet cherry, with hints of peppery spices. This imminently drinkable wine is full bodied on taste, with a smooth, long finish. Can also age for 3-5 years. Enjoy with a leg of lamb, all beef steaks, venison and even your favorite burgers.

Cabernet Sauvignon Proprietor's Reserve
These grapes were in excellent condition at 24* Brix. They were crushed, fermented and oak matured here at Stonechurch Cellars. On the nose are aromas of black currant, blueberry and sweet cherry, with hints of peppery spices. This imminently drinkable wine is full bodied on taste with a smooth, long finish. Cabernet-Merlot
Taste the ripe berry fruit and spicy vanilla in this delicious blend of three of the classic Bordeaux varietals. The merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes originated from Washington State, USA, and were picked at full ripeness at 24 degrees Brix. They were crushed, fermented and oak matured here at Stonechurch before being blended with our cabernet franc to craft this superb blend. The composition is 71% merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. Expect to find sweet spices and fruity complexity from the cabernets. This wine is full bodied yet smooth, with a great depth and a good, long finish. Enjoy with all red meats, barbecued ribs and rich cheeses.

Chardonnay Sans Chêne VQA
Sans Chêne is French for "no oak" and indicates that this Chardonnay has not
undergone any barrel fermentation or oak maturation. Enjoy on its own or with
seafood, poultry, pork, mushrooms and herbal seasonings and creamy sauces.

Gewürztraminer VQA
This crisp, refreshing wine has forward hints of tropical fruit and spices reflecting
the new world style of Niagara's cool climate wine region. Pair with vegetarian
and Asian dishes or simply enjoy on its own.

Pinot Noir Reserve VQA
This vintage delivered well ripened grapes. They were fermented with a special
yeast strain to enhance the true Pinot Noir characteristics and express our vineyard
terroir. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured for 13 months
in 100% new French and American oak barrels. It has matured into an elegant
and complex wine exhibiting an aroma mix of sour cherried, plums and black
pepper spice. It is medium-bodied, with a silky smooth mouth feel and soft tannin.
Persistent oak vanilla flavours complement the lingering finish. Match with grilled
salmon, lamb, pasta dishes and vegetarian cuisine.

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon VQA
This wine exhibits blackberry and black currant on the nose, balanced with
integrated oak spices. It has a lingering smokey finish with hints of pepper.

Riesling VQA (2)
Crisp and refreshing with notes citrus, pear and apple replaying from start to
finish. Pair with stir fry and curries. Winner of Bronze at the Cellars of the
World competition.

Sauvignon Blanc VQA
This crisp, dry and refreshing wine has forward hints of guava, pineapple and
melon with underlying bell pepper and green fig. It has a clean and lengthy
finish. Pair with all types of seafood.

Shiraz
This wine was selected for our new International Series from the Languedoc region in France. It shows typical Shiraz characteristics of excellent dark ruby colour, ripe strawberry and cherry aromas, and a full body with some gentle dry tannin on the finish. Pair this delicious Shiraz with your favourite meat, whether it be lamb, beef or veal. Try it with all burgers, pizzas and pasta dishes.

Shiraz Reserve
This wine was selected for our new International Series from the Languedoc region in France. Wine from Shiraz grapes from Washington State which were vinted and barrel matured for 7 months in second fill French and American oak barrels, was used to make up the final blend of 70% French Shiraz, 28% US Shiraz and 2% local Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has typical Shiraz characteristics of excellent dark ruby colour and big dark fruit aromas with smoke and toasted notes. It is full bodied and smooth, with some gentle tannin on the finish. Pair this delicious Shiraz with your favourite beef dishes or be adventurous and pair it with different cheeses and even chocolate dipped srawberries.

Sunrise Vidal-Pinot Gris VQA
A lively, fruity, refreshing white wine, with excellent balance to tantalize
the taste buds. Ideal for sipping and enjoying in the summertime with good
friends and with good food such as seafood, pasta, gourmet pizza and
vegetarian dishes.

Sunset Foch-Baco-Cabernet VQA
A smoky, fruity, deliciously smooth tasting deep red wine, ideal for sipping with
good friends and with good food such as your favourite red meat, pasta and
grilled vegetarian dishes.

Vidal Icewine VQA
Yellow gold in colour with complex aromas of honey, peach and dried apricots. Fresh, luscious and silky smooth in the mouth with excellent balance. Persistent lingering flavours of pineapple and butterscotch lead to a long finish. Present as a dessert or enjoy with a loved one. Can also be paired with foie gras or Creme brulee.
