Baco Noir Reserve Casscels Vineyards
Baco Noir Casscels Reserve is a small production, fine wine that has recieved praise from Edible Manhattan, Rural Intelligence, New York Cork Report, All Over Albany, The Fussy Little Blog, and numerous other publications. Baco Noir was a French hybrid originally bred to replace Pinot Noir during the phylloxera epidemic during the 1800s. The grapes are from 20-year old vines and harvested by hand. Blanc de Blanc
Our semi-dry sparkling wine has fans up and down the Hudson Valley. It’s made from grapes grown in the Finger Lakes and while it’s a semi-dry bubbly, it has a clean finish that makes for a very enjoyable wine.

Empire
Empire is the first New York state super-blend. This wine is 33% Merlot from Long Island, 33% Cabernet Franc from the Finger Lakes, and 33% Baco Noir from the Hudson Valley. Unfiltered, and un fined, the wines are blended, and then aged in three separate lots – French oak, American oak, and stainless steel. When the wine is almost 2 years old, they are belnded, and then bottled, and aged for another 4-6 months before release. The result is an incredibly complex wine, filled with multiple layers of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, cassis, vanilla, orange pekoe tea, and fallen leaves. Can drink now or in five-to-ten years. As written about as any of our wines, this wine has been appeared in Dowd on Drinks, New York Cork Report, Hudson Valley Table, Albany Union Times, Democrat Chronicle, Hudson Valley Wine Goddess, and many others.

Lindenwald White
Packaged in a distinctive blue bottle and named for President Martin Van Buren’s summer home in Kinderhook, this is one of our most popular wines. It’s a blend of Diamond and Niagara grapes, and smells and tastes like a juicy Concord grape, reminiscent of those found on wild vines. It’s sweet yet light – a great sipping wine or accompaniment to foods as varied as spicy food to dessert.

Salmagundi
A blend of Vidal Blanc and DeChaunac from the Hudson Valley, this is a light, semi-sweet blush wine with a delightful nose and full-bodied fruit flavor. A yummy wine for summer evenings wherever you are (or those wishing for summer evenings).
