  Carneros Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2002 Carneros Cabernet displays the firm structure and great character of cool-climate Cabernet. It is dark, dense and brooding. The nose is packed with blackberry, currant, earthy, leather and dry herb characters. The flavors are bold and clear, rich and ripe, with soft well integrated tannins, lingering flavors in a soft finish. While drinkable upon release it should age beautifully for the couple of years.
  Carneros Chardonnay
There’s no doubt about the appellation here. The aromas are a combination of lemon drop, green apple, orange blossom, clove, hazelnut screaming Carneros from start to finish. The flavors are lemon lime, apple, pear fruit driven with racy acidity and rich lemon cream and subtle vanilla/spice, which adds more texture. Our 2004 Carneros Chardonnay beautifully conveys site, variety and vintage.
  Carneros Merlot
The 2001 Carneros Merlot is a classic example of cool climate Merlot’s ability to be rich, well structured and complex. Aromas of blackberry, Queen Anne cherry and mocha are highlighted by light notes of herb and sweet vanilla oak. Beautifully layered flavors of cherry, plum, anise and cocoa are delivered to the palate amid rich soft tannins. The smooth elegant mouthfeel leads way to a long lingering finish.
  Carneros Merlot
The 2002 Carneros Merlot is a classic example of cool climate Merlot’s ability to be rich, well structured and complex. Aromas of blackberry, plum, mocha, are highlighted by light notes of green tea, tobacco and sweet vanilla oak. Beautifully layered flavors of bright red fruits, earth, and mocha are delivered to the palate amid big rich tannins. The smooth elegant mouthfeel leads way to a long lingering finish.
  Carneros Pinot Gris
A bright, crisp and flavorful Pinot Gris, with aromas of delicate lemon zest, melon, orange marmalade and mineral. The flavors are lemon-lime focused with subtle marzipan and bright acidity, prominently featuring peach, citrus and lingering melon. Excellent with food or on its own, this wine is perfect for brunch or served alongside delicate fish and seafood dishes. Delicious when paired with crab ravioli in a light cream sauce or pan-seared scallops with crisp-fried leeks.
  Carneros Pinot Noir
The wine opens with deep purple and smoke on the water. The aromas are ripe and forward and saturated with red cherry, cranberry, clove, green tea, earth and vanilla. The palate is all strawberry, cherry, chocolate and red raspberry. Long, rich, and luscious this is the epitome of Carneros Pinot Noir.
  Carneros Syrah
An approachable expression of cool climate Syrah – the gamey side of Syrah is balanced by the elegance and finesse of the cool climate fruit, cherries and floral notes. The aromas are a combination of blueberry and kirsch, roasted meat, violets and black licorice. The flavors are cherry, spice and currant, with a medium to long finish of plum and toast. This is a very food friendly wine due to its natural acidity and a restrained winemaking approach (similar to Pinot Noir). Try it with pan seared venison steak and sweet potato mash.
  Classic Sauvignon Blanc
The aromas of this fresh Sauvignon Blanc evolve beautifully from fresh citrus and tropical fruit to mild hints of honeysuckle. Flavors of melon, pears and grapefruit give way to delicate floral nuances. The mouthfeel is smooth and the wine finishes with a crisp burst of citrus.
  Classic Zinfandel
Ripe bing cherry aromas and flavors dominate the smooth mouthfeel and spicy finish. This wine exhibits a spicy jammy character that is the hallmark of great Zinfandel.
EVS Chardonnay - Dijon Clones / Ramal Vineyard
Our EVS wines give us the opportunity to showcase individual clones or blocks that perform exceptionally well in any given vintage. This wine exhibits aromas of steely minerality, lemon drop, clove, pear aromas and subtle matchstick. The 2004 Dijon Clones Chardonnay continues with rich flavors of oily bright citrus, focused peach, mandarin orange and candied ginger. Try it with a lemon dill poached salmon in a beurre blanc sauce.
EVS Chardonnay - Ramal Vineyard Estate
True to its Carneros terroir, the wine exhibits aromas of apple, asian pear, citrus rind, mineral, hazelnut and brioche. This wine continues with flavors of lemon custard, nectarine, with subtle tropical, wet stone minerality and vanilla cream in the finish. The 2004 Ramal Vineyard Chardonnay has complexity with its multiple clonal selections, showing bright acidity and great fruit intensity along with richness and lush texture.
