  Estate Bottled Pinot Noir
Upon opening, our 2002 Estate Bottled Pinot Noir exhibits a delicate nose with an attractive hint of oak vanillins that extends to the palate. Fruity hints of black cherries and strawberries grace the finish. The medium tannic structure and astringency will enhance suppleness and complexity as the wine ages. This lovely wine will grace medium to hearty dishes.
  Estate Bottled Riesling
Our estate vineyard has long been known as a site that consistently produces Riesling grapes of exceptional quality and character. This semi-sweet wine exhibits peach and apricot flavors complemented by intense aromas that are ensured by a slow, cool fermentation. It pairs well with salads, fruit dishes, and light or spicy entrees.
  Marechal Foch
Although visually similar to a big Bordeaux red, Marechal Foch is neither Bordeaux or Burgundian. Instead, it offers a sensory experience all its own with its unique labrusca bouquet, flavor hints of figs and prunes, and a full yet crisp mouth feel. Pair this wine as you would any red, with hearty dishes. It goes particularly well with lamb, venison, and fowl; especially roast duck.
  Pinot Noir
Our 1999 Pinot Noir was sourced from five vineyards and harvested throughout late October and the first week of November. This Pinot Noir was carefully vinified to emphasize the delicacy and complexity of the fruit and to ensure good acid balance. The grapes were whole-berry fermented in open top fermenters for an average of twelve days. Careful monitoring of fermentation temperature, combined with twice daily punchdowns, were designed to ensure full color extraction. After pressing off, the wine was racked into French and Oregon oak for 9 months’ of barrel aging. The blended wine was cold-stabilized and received a coarse filtration prior to bottling. The resulting Pinot Noir offers decidedly forward fruit throughout the tasting experience, with intense aromas of cloves and cherries. Luscious flavors of rich, ripe berry fruits fill the mouth, accompanied by nuances of vanilla and light sweet spices. A crisp finish hints of pepper. Pasta dishes, cheese, or chocolate goodies--this wine enhances them all!
  Vintage Select Chardonnay
Our 2004 Chardonnay greets the nose with complex aromas of apple, herbs, and melon, with subtle undertones of oak and nutmeg. The apple hints carry through to the mouth, complemented by a refreshingly crisp finish. Enjoy our Chardonnay as a slightly-chilled accompaniment with light fare, Gruyere and similar chesses, or as a worthy companion to shellfish and other seafoods.
  Vintage Select Gamay Noir
LaVelle Vineyards Gamay Noir was harvested on Oct. 7, 2003. It was whole berry crushed and carefully vinified in open top fermenters. Twelve days after fermentation the wine was racked into barrels, where it was aged for nine months. The wine was coarse filtered and bottled on September 2, 2004. Our 2003 Gamay Noir exhibits a delicate nose with nuances of fruit and spice. Dark cherry and currant flavors are followed by soft hints of white pepper, and a finish of red plums completes the tasting experience. This wine serves well with meat and pasta dishes, or as a complement to rich chocolate desserts.
  Vintage Select Pinot Gris
Our 2003 Pinot Gris Vintage Select presents a fruit forward nose, with nuances of melons and pears, and is accompanied by a crisp, clean mouthfeel and a floral finish. A traditional and natural accompaniment to Northwest salmon, our 2003 Pinot Gris also pairs well with pork, fruits and light cheeses.
  Vintage Select Pinot Gris
Our 2004 Vintage Select Pinot Gris presents a fruit-forward nose with aromas of pear and melon. This distinctly refreshing wine exhibits rich varietal character, with a finish that hints of tropical fruit. A natural complement to Northwest cuisine, take it along for your summer picnics. And---we’re going out on a limb here---y’all try it with Southern fried chicken.
