Barrel Fermented Gewurztraminer Icewine
Amber to gold in colour this wine has all the classic Gewurztraminer character: Lychee, Rose petal, mango and cantaloupe. The palate has added complexity from the barrel ageing. A very creamy, buttery mouth feel with mellow fruit flavours contrasted by mocha, and toffee flavours.

Barrel Select Baco Noir
This Baco Noir has a clean nose with bright hints of blueberries and plum with anise, toast and spice. Medium bodied and creamy on the palate, this deep purple wine has rich concentrated flavours. Overall, an elegant and refined version of this unusual grape variety. Drink now or hold for 10 years.

Bench Cabernet Franc
Harvested from the 'Bench Vineyards' of Qew and Cuesta, this light fruity red was partially pressed and fermented along with whole berries for 24 days to bring out ripe, red berry fruit flavours. After the stainless steel fermentation, the wine was aged in American oak barrels for six months.

Bench Chardonnay
This Chardonnay is an excellent example of the classic Beamsville Bench terrior producing a rich yet fruity Chardonnay. The nose has a wash of tropical fruit flavours including Banana, pineapple, citrus and apple mingled with sweeter aromas of vanilla and butterscotch. The palate is light bodied and very smooth with subtle flavours of melon and pear concluding with a soft oak finish. Excellent balance of oak and fruit. Drink now or hold for up to 7 years.

Bench Pinot Noir
This wine has all the characteristics of traditional French-styled Pinot noir yet is drinkable now. The wine boasts jammy red fruit on the nose accompanied with spicy oak notes of leather, old wood, tobacco and spice. The palate is surprisingly smooth with flavours of black cherry and currant but still has a nice acid and tannic backbone that will allow for further ageing.

Bench Riesling
This wine has all the characteristics of traditional Riesling grown on the Bench. A highly aromatic wine with notes of fresh lemon, orange peel, and softer hints of passion fruit, red grapefruit and a mineral accent. The palate is crisp and zesty, with excellent grip. Flavours include strong lemon and lime accents, mingled with subtler flavours of peach and apple. The acidity provides excellent structure balancing the initial sweetness. Drink now or hold on to for three to five years.

Cabernet Merlot
This wine is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 23 days with a full malolactic-lactic fermentation for added body and complexity. The wine was then allowed to mature in older French and American barrels for a period of 10 months prior to bottling.

Cranberry Wine
This wine has a bright Cranberry colour with a fruity, aromatic nose including hints of cranberry, currant and Macintosh apple. The palate is very lively, starting with a sweetness that is perfectly balanced with a tart, refreshing finish.

Forte
This port style wine has a tawny nose with toasty barnyard notes as well as hints of plum, cedar, and spice. The palate is full bodied with lots of dried fruit and oak flavour all finishing with a pleasant warm alcohol sensation. Try with dessert, or a fine cigar.

Founder's Signature Collection Charlotte's Chardonnay
The Chardonnay represents a tribute to Charlotte Warren, the wife of Stoney Ridge’s founding winemaker, Jim Warren. This limited edition wine is an excellent vehicle for showcasing the true varietals characteristics of the noble Chardonnay variety. For an unoaked Chardonnay, this wine shows a surprising amount of full-bodied complexity on the palate. Rich flavours of pineapple, melon, banana and citrus can be identified in the bouquet and on the palate. The wine starts with a hint of sweetness, followed by a cleansing acidity making for an extremely pleasant addition to any light meal.

Founder's Signature Collection Meritage
The grapes for this wine were taken from Beamsville Bench vineyards in mid October. The juice underwent maceration in stainless steel for a period of 28 days. The wine was then carefully aged in new French, American and Hungarian oak barrels for 10 months prior to bottling. After extensive trials a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc was decided upon.

Merlot
This Merlot is deep garnet in colour with a complex bouquet of plum, black cherry and rosemary with subtle oak hints of cedar and white pepper. The palate is mellow and silky a mix of ripe, red berry fruit accented with a smooth vanilla and mellow oak finish. With decanting this wine can be enjoyed now but will continue to develop over 4 to 6 years.

Muscat Ottonel
The 2005 Muscat Ottonel was vinted from hand-picked grapes from the Grape Research Station in Vineland. This aromatic white wine is light and refreshing with a floral bouquet of lilac, honeydew melon and lemon. The palate is soft and smooth with rich tropical fruit flavours of ripe melon and pineapple balanced by crisp citrus flavours. A great sipping wine on its own or pair with cream-based pastas, soft cheeses or shellfish. Best enjoyed young.

Pinot Grigio
The 2005 Pinot Grigio is a blend of grapes from two growers in two different sub-appellations, Arnie Lepp (NOTL) and Cave Springs (Beamsville). It is a light-bodied crisp white wine that exhibits melon and peach characteristics on both the nose and palate. It has a crisp acidity that marries well with rich seafood dishes. Refreshing and versatile, it pairs well with Mushroom and Scallop Risotto, Smoked Salmon and Roasted Chicken Salad with Hazelnuts.

Reserve Cabernet Franc; Wismer Vineyard
This Cabernet Franc is deep ruby to garnet in colour with a complex bouquet of strawberry, and black cherry with subtle oak hints of cedar and bell pepper. The palate is a mix of ripe, red berry fruit accented with a smooth vanilla and mellow oak finish. With decanting this wine can be enjoyed now but will continue to develop over 6 to 8 years.

Reserve Chardonnay; Kew Vineyard
This Chardonnay has been crafted in the classic French tradition. The wine is pale straw in colour with a complex bouquet heavy with tropical fruit flavours of melon, passion fruit and pineapple mingled with subtle hints of peach and apple along with oaky notes of vanilla and toast. The palate exhibits forward tropical fruit flavours with a creamy, buttery-oak finish adding to the wines complexity. This Chardonnay has an excellent balance of buttery oak notes balanced with cleansing acidity. Great to dink now but will continue to age for 5-10 years.

Sauvignon Blanc
This Sauvignon Blanc is fashioned after the popular New Zealand Style with spicy fruit and racy acidity. The wine has a fresh grassy nose accompanied by hints of gooseberry, lime rind, and passion fruit. The palate is intense and refreshing with lemon acidity and green apple; Softer flavours of pear and honeydew melon are also present.

Select Late Harvest Vidal
A light gold colour, deep honeyed nose with subtle hints of lemon and orange rind as well as passion fruit. The palate is full and sweet, but balanced with well structured acidity. Flavours of note include mango, passion fruit, grapefruit and honey.

Shiraz
Hints of cherry and currants with accents of cedar, white pepper and anise. Full bodied on the palate and very smooth. Flavours of cherry and plum concluding with a toasty vanilla finish.

Vidal Icewine
This Icewine was produced from entirely from Vidal grapes harvested from the Fox, Kew and Troup vineyards in mid-January. The wine was fermented at lower temperatures in stainless steel over 30 days and then held in tank for a further 18 months for settling and refining.
