Southbrook Winery

Southbrook Winery Passionate about good food and fine wine, Bill and Marilyn Redelmeier decided a winery would be a perfect addition to their successful market garden and farm. So they converted their 100 year old barn into a winery. Together with winemaker Derek Barnett they developed wines to complete with the worlds best. Located in Maples north of Toronto, Southbrook began producing wine in 1992. Their Framboise wines have captured the world and can be found at Harrods in England

Products

  Canadian Blackberry
Incredibly intense, made from Canadian grown fruit
  Canadian Blueberry
The newest of our fruit wines, it is also the softest in flavour. The bouquet and flavours are much gentler than the other fruits, but they are captured in abundance. It reminds one of a fresh blueberry pie baking on a late summer's afternoon.
  Canadian Cassis
Made from fresh blackcurrants. Fermented for 3-4 days and fortified. Flavours are very intense with hints of orange peel, spices and earthy tones. Crisp acidity keeps this wine fresh through a very long finish. Serve with fresh fruit salads or rich creamy desserts.
  Canadian Framboise
Made from fresh raspberries, this product is fermented for a short time and then fortified. This preserves the pure fruit flavours on both the nose and palate with a fresh, long finish. This is the perfect match with dark chocolate desserts.
  Framboise d'Or
