Description:
Are you in the mood for a glass of rich robust red wine? Try this jammy red, comprised mainly of Marechal Foch grapes. This wine displays a deep rich hue and a dark purple/violet colour. Southbrook Red emits aromas of crushed red fruit, primarily raspberry and cranberry. In the mouth, one finds concentrated fruit flavours consistent with aromas, as well as added complexity from oak aging. Fruit and oak nuances are balanced by well-defined tannins and acidity. Try Southbrook Red with grilled lamb chops, portobello mushrooms or hamburgers off the BBQ. Drink up to four years after vintage date.
