South Street Brewery
The South Street Brewery was founded in 1998, and is housed in the renovated H. H. Hankins Hay and Grain warehouse built in the late 1800’s. Old brick walls, hardwood floors and thick timber pillars provide a striking setting for our custom built brewhouse and a spacious, welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy our fresh, handcrafted ales and lagers as well as our seasonal fare.

Hefeweizen
An authentic Bavarian-style unfiltered wheat beer. The German yeast we use imparts subtle banana and clove flavors that are very refreshing. A cloudy golden-orange hue, Hefeweizen is known world-wide as the quintessential warm-weather beer.

India Ink
Back by popular demand! Typically dark ales (e.g. Porter, Stout) don’t emphasize the hops, but in this black IPA, a style recently popularized on the West Coast, its all about hop character. Assertive bitterness is shared with its paler cousin, and generous quantities of Simco, Amarillo, Columbus and Cascade conspire with a subtle roasted flavor give this beer unique and delicious flavor.
J P Ale
Our award winning American-style pale ale. Tons of Cascade hops give it moderate bitterness with great aroma and fresh hop flavor. A staff favorite..
Liberation Lager
A light German-style lager blended with Pilsen, Belgian crystal and wheat malts the balanced with Horizon, Cascade and Saaz hops. This brilliant golden beer, comprised of non-traditional ingredients, is a lager at its most drinkable.
Maibock
A strong amber lager for the Springtime. Brewed with Pilsen, Vienna and Munich malts, and balanced with Tettenang, Saaz and German Tradition hops. Extended cold aging and the special bottom-fermenting yeast create an intense malt flavor and an exceptionally clean finish.
Olde 420 Stout
We’re moving our traditional summer stout to spring for one obvious reason, as well as to make room for a hoppy stout this summer. Roasted malts, rich smoky flavor and a lasting, balanced finish best characterize this beer. 5.6% ABV.
Satan’s Pony Amber Ale
The most distinguishing characteristic of this amber ale is the perfect balance of hop, malt, and roasted flavors. Deceptively smooth, Satan’s Pony is our most popular selection.
