Located halfway between Washington DC and Richmond, VA. Four miles south of Potomac River Bridge on Rt. 301, turn southeast on Rt. 218. proceed 2.5 mi. to Belle Isle road on right (Rt. 613 on left.) Proceed on Belle Island Rd. 200 feet, turn left on Oak Crest Drive and proceed to winery entrance on left.

  20th Anniversary Seyval Blanc
95% Seyval Blanc 5% Viognier 100%. Stainless Steel A recreation of the first wine produced at Oakencroft. This wine is fresh and lively with peach overtones and a crisp clean finish. Bottled in December 2002. Drink now through 2006. Only 200 cases produced to celebrate our 20th year. GOLD – STATE FAIR OF VIRGINIA WINE COMPETITION.
  Cabernet Franc
90% Cabernet Franc 10% Chambourcin. Packed with ripe fruit. A small amount of Chambourcin adds some spice to the finish. Aged 12 months in mostly French oak. Very concentrated tannins. Bottled December 2002. Drink now through 2006. 230 cases produced.
  Cabernet Franc
95% Cabernet Franc 5% Petit Verdot. The dry weather and heat of the 2002 growing season created conditions ideal for Cabernet Franc to express itself with intense fruit and deep color. With 2 years of barrel aging, we believe this is the finest Cabernet Franc yet from Oakencroft. Bottled August 2004. Drink now through 2010. 100 cases produced.
  Cabernet Franc
100% Franc has a lighter body and color than the Cabernet Sauvignon.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
86% Cabernet Sauvignon 11% Chambourcin 3% Merlot. Fermented and macerated two weeks in stainless steel then aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Rich blackberry overtones. Bottled December 2001. Drink now through 2006. 400 cases produced.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet Sauvignon has the tannin, color, and flavors to be a great wine in about 6 years. It is the backbone of our Reserve wine.
  Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
This Cabernet was fermented to produce a full-bodied wine and then blended with enough Merlot to give smoothness, flavor and color. There is a small amount of Cabernet Franc in this blend to add bouquet. Serve at cellar temperature with steak, ground beef, venison or chocolate
  Chardonnay Reserve
100% Chardonnay 100%. Fermented in small French oak barrels and aged for an additional 24 months to reach maturity. This wine expresses intense aromas of vanilla and citrus on the palate and flows with soft and supple tones that lead to a nice mineral character woven together with toasty oak. Bottled August 2004. Drink now through 2007. 100 cases produced.
60% Vidal Blanc 40% Traminette. Well balanced wine with flavors of peaches and apricots. Made from frozen Vidal grapes at 40° Brix. Fermented slowly in new French oak barrels and matured for an additional twelve months. Fragrant, memorable on the palate and very elegant. Bottled August 2004. Drink now through 2006. 88 cases produced.
  Estate Chambourcin
100% Chambourcin. Distinctive, with earth, cedar and leather notes. Ripe, powerful and concentrated with dark plum and black cherry flavors that ends off with a long spicy finish and well rounded tannins. Bottled August 2004. Drink now through 2009. 40 cases produced.
  Jefferson Claret
45% Cabernet Franc 30% Merlot 15% Chambourcin 10% Petit Verdot. This newly designed label features Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, the father of Virginia’s wine industry. There are very soft accents of chocolate, mocha, and cedar on the nose. A medium bodied Bordeaux blend wine with beautiful flavors of plums and currants that ends with dry, round tannins. Bottled August 2004. Drink now through 2008. 100 cases produced.
Our first Meritage, a harmonious blend of classic Bordeaux grapes, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Elegant and full bodied with firm tannins and a long silky finish. Perfect ripening weather for this vintage and it shows. Aged in French oak for eleven months. 200 cases produced. Drink now through 2006.
75% Merlot 18% Petite Verdot 7% Chambourcin. A nicely balanced medium body Merlot. Ripe cherry flavors with subtle oak intergration. Aged in French oak for 9 months. Bottled December 2003. Drink now through 2006. 275 cases produced.
This 100%, 2004 Merlot is deep rich colored, has a berry flavor, and the lack of tannins make it ultra smooth drinking.
  Merlot Reserve
85% Merlot 15% Petit Verdot.Full bodied with intense flavors. Black cherry notes with ripe tannins and a long smooth finish. Aged in French and American oak for twelve months. Bottled July 2003. Drink now through 2010. 200 cases produced.
  NV Countryside Red
62% Chambourcin 30% Cabernet Franc 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Chardonnay for aroma. 55% aged in oak and 45% in stainless steel with 2% residual sugar. Soft and fruity. Drink now through 2006. Bottled June 2004. 475 case produced.
  NV Countryside White
53% Seyval Blanc 40% Vidal Blanc 7% Viognier and .7% residual sugar. A blend of Seyval and Vidal fermented completely in stainless steel. Citrusy flavors with a crisp lively acidity. Bottled June 2003. Drink now through 2006. 750 cases produced.
  NV Sweet Virginia
75% Chardonnay 25% Viognier 7.5% Residual Sugar A blend of our Chardonnay and Viognier with a little Muscat for sweetness. Fermented cold in stainless steel this wine has a beautiful honeysuckle nose. Great for an aperitif. Drink now through 2006. Bottled March 2004. 275 cases produced.
  Petit Verdot
100% Petit Verdot. Rich with big and well rounded tannins. The aroma of violets enhances the long, smooth finish. Aged in French and American oak for twelve months. Bottled July 2003. Drink now through 2008. 70 cases produced.
  Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
This 2004 Reserve Cabernet is a classic Bordeaux blend. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon for body and aging ability, 21% Merlot for smoothness and color, and 3% Cabernet Franc for its perfume. The result is a dark, complex, full-bodied wine that is drinkable now.
100% Merlot. Aromas of rose petals and red plums that leads to a medium-bodied palate that ends with a crisp, clean finish. Bottled April 2005. Drink now through 2006. 100 cases produced.
  Seyval Blanc
100% Seyval. A bright and lively young Seyval with grapefruit, lemon and a light grassy character. Full bodied, with fresh acidity and a long zesty finish. Drink now through 2006. 200 cased produced.
  Summer Medley
Last year’s experiment fermenting Symphony and strawberries together sold out in 8 weeks.
  Summer Rose
A 100% Cabernet Franc rose’ style wine. Probably the most go-with-any-food wine listed here; also a good sip anytime wine.
  Symphony (Dry)
Oak Crest's version of a German white table wine with floral aroma (Muscat) and a crisp fruit flavor of pear, peach and citrus. Serve chilled with seafood, poultry or light pasta.
  Symphony (Sweet)
Oak Crest's sweet Muscat flavored wine may be served cold as a dessert wine or as an aperitif. Very good with cheesecake and fresh fruit.
This wine is highly aromatic, with a floral nose and a smooth finish. Serve chilled with seafood, light meats and pasta.
