Baco Noir Old Vines Mason Place Vineyards Pultney Farms
This wine comes from vines that are more than 60 yearsold. The berries are dark and ripe. The wine is all handmade, and unfiltered and unfined. It’s aged in French oak barrels. The major profile of this wine is it’s deep dark sour cherry flavor, with hints of plum and prune, and big whiffs of vanillan and fallen leaves. A medium palate wine, this is a soft approachable red that has become one of the sigature wines of the Hudson-Chatham stable. The wine has been featured in such places as the New York Cork Report, Beverage Media, the Fussy Little Blog, the Hudson Valley Wine Goddess, and many other places. Served in numerous restaurants from NYC to Albany. A classic red drawing quickly drawing an avid fan base.
  Baco Noir Reserve Casscels Vineyards
Baco Noir Casscels Reserve is a small production, fine wine that has recieved praise from Edible Manhattan, Rural Intelligence, New York Cork Report, All Over Albany, The Fussy Little Blog, and numerous other publications. Baco Noir was a French hybrid originally bred to replace Pinot Noir during the phylloxera epidemic during the 1800s. The grapes are from 20-year old vines and harvested by hand. The wine is unfiltered and unfined. It’s aged 9-10 mos. in French oak. This delightful red has a bright sour cherry profile with big whiffs of plum and vanilla. An incredible soft, medium-bodied wine, that will age well for years. This wine is excellent with cheese, pork, chicken, pasta, and other gourmet meals.
  Blanc de Blanc
Our semi-dry sparkling wine has fans up and down the Hudson Valley. It’s made from grapes grown in the Finger Lakes and while it’s a semi-dry bubbly, it has a clean finish that makes for a very enjoyable wine.
  Chelois Casscles Vineyards
This is one of the crown jewels of the Hudson-Chtham line. A soft, cherry flavored red table wine made from Chelois grapes. Grown on a small parcel, this wine is handmade, unfiltered, and unfined. Hudson-Chatham Chelois features a bright red cherry profile, with gentle touches of vanilla and fallen leaves. A exquisite red wine comparable to a light Burgundy Pinot Noir. This wine has recieved rave reviews from Steven Kolpan on WAMC radio, the New York Cork Report, the Hudson Valley Wine Goddess, and many others.
  Empire
Empire is the first New York state super-blend. This wine is 33% Merlot from Long Island, 33% Cabernet Franc from the Finger Lakes, and 33% Baco Noir from the Hudson Valley. Unfiltered, and un fined, the wines are blended, and then aged in three separate lots – French oak, American oak, and stainless steel. When the wine is almost 2 years old, they are belnded, and then bottled, and aged for another 4-6 months before release. The result is an incredibly complex wine, filled with multiple layers of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, cassis, vanilla, orange pekoe tea, and fallen leaves. Can drink now or in five-to-ten years. As written about as any of our wines, this wine has been appeared in Dowd on Drinks, New York Cork Report, Hudson Valley Table, Albany Union Times, Democrat Chronicle, Hudson Valley Wine Goddess, and many others.
  Lindenwald White
Packaged in a distinctive blue bottle and named for President Martin Van Buren’s summer home in Kinderhook, this is one of our most popular wines. It’s a blend of Diamond and Niagara grapes, and smells and tastes like a juicy Concord grape, reminiscent of those found on wild vines. It’s sweet yet light – a great sipping wine or accompaniment to foods as varied as spicy food to dessert.
  Salmagundi
A blend of Vidal Blanc and DeChaunac from the Hudson Valley, this is a light, semi-sweet blush wine with a delightful nose and full-bodied fruit flavor. A yummy wine for summer evenings wherever you are (or those wishing for summer evenings).
Seyval Blanc Estate Block 1 North Creek Vineyard
Made from grapes grown in the Block 1 section of our estate vineyard – North Creek Vineyard - this exceptional wine is made using only 100% Seyval Blanc grown in our own vineyard. It’s also aged in French and American oak. The resulting wine is an incredible, light white wine filled with river stone mineral overtones, and dry, lemony finish. It’s done in the style of a fume blanc, and goes great with clams, oysters, shellfish, any kind of seafood, cheeses, chicken, all kinds of appetizers and salads.
