Lowden Hills Merlot is a product of Washington state’s finest vineyards, our own Win Chester Vineyards, located in the hills near the quaint town of Lowden, Washington in the Walla Walla Valley and Alder Ridge Vineyards overlooking the mighty Columbia River. The rich color is complimented by the vibrant aromas of plum and dark cherries. The full body is enhanced by the complex currant and cherry flavors that last long into the finish.We blend these hand-selected grapes to create a stunning, seductive Merlot that is sure to tantalize your taste buds and pleasure your palate. All of our 2002 wines are barrel aged (French oak barrels) over 16 months. Their best flavors will be enjoyed after July 04, and may be cellared out to five or six years, and possibly beyond.
