This traditional mead is made in the traditional way, not just wine with honey added after fermentation as some others who claim there products to be mead, this is a good sweet mead yet it is not overly sweet like sac mead. It is not like a dry wine. It has a very fragrant honey/floral aroma. It also has a 9% alcohol content so it’s not harsh, with a smooth after taste. If you enjoy this fine product in a delicate wine glass (instead of a Viking drinking horn as I prefer), you will notice its legs. Out of several other true meads I have tried over the years, this is by far my favorite. If you enjoy the taste of honey you will love this wine.
