Description:
2000 was a great year for Riesling, so we let the fruit hang for an additional 5 to 6 weeks. All grapes were touched by noble rot, so the usual wild rose flavor is beautifully complemented by honey and apricot. This wine will agreeably complement Alsatian dishes and fresh-water fish. Ninety-nine cases were produced.

Riesling:
On the sweeter end of the spectrum, some of the best dessert wines should give thanks to the Riesling varietal. Rieslings are made dry to sweet, but it is the sweet style Riesling that brought about its popularity in the United States.
