Description:
a semi-dry, exquisitely fruity blend of Vidal Blanc and Cayuga White. Perfectly balanced to accompany a wide variety of foods and please most any palate. Cayuga White and Vidal Blanc are both excellent wine varieties. Cayuga lends brightness and crispness to the blend. Vidal lends fruit intensity, body and structure. Both varieties are fermented in stainless tanks with a variety of yeast strains. Various cellar management techniques such as cool, gentle fermentation, sur lie aging, lees stirring and juice reserve addition increase the complexity and structure of the wine while retaining delicate characters.

Varietal Definition
Cayuga:
A hybrid cross between the Johannisberg Riesling and Seyval Blanc grapes. Makes a fruity white wine of mild intensity somewhat similar to Aurore. Widely grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and other cool regions of North America.

Vidal Blanc:
A white French hybrid once widely planted in the south of France, it is more suitable for growing in warm and humid climates like the South. These vines are prolific, producing large golden berries, suitable for eating out of hand as table grapes. When vinified, Villard Blanc makes a fruity, mildly intense white wine (somewhat Sauvignon Blanc like) of fairly neutral and simple flavors. Primarily used for blending.
