Marquette

Marquette Wine Details
Price:

Description: Marquette is a close relative to the Frontenac and Pinot Noir grape varieties. This variety was developed by the University of Minnesota and introduced to the market in 2006. Marquette is an ideal grape for our chilly Northern climate and short growing season. Marquette’s high sugar and low acidity make a complex and delicious wine. Our Marquette is smooth, rich, and complex without the tannic bite typically found in red wines. While not a sweet wine, our Marquette is definitely not dry either. We like to think it’s just perfect.

Marquette:
Marquette, formerly MN1211, is a high sugar and moderate acidity red wine grape. It has an open orderly growth habit. University of Minnesota indicates that its resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and black rot has been very good.
