Arkansas Hickory Smoked Whiskey

Arkansas Hickory Smoked Whiskey Wine Details

Description: Whiskey distilled from Arkansas Soft Red Winter Wheat – aged in ex-Bourbon casks – with a nice smokey taste from real Hickory. We took American whiskey distilling techniques and melded it with Scotch whiskey aging techniques to make something pretty special, Arkansas Hickory Smoked Whiskey. We steeped the wheat in water and then slowly dried the wheat by smoking it in our own hickory smokers. It was smoky but definitely worth it!

Varietal Definition
Whisky (Scottish Gaelic: uisge-beatha), or whiskey (Irish: uisce beatha or fuisce), refers to a broad category of alcoholic beverages that are distilled from fermented grain mash and aged in wooden casks (generally oak).
