This dry red wine was made with the St. Croix grape, a variety developed by Elmer Swenson. A full-bodied red wine, its flavor and aroma hint at plums & black cherry. Sip it by itself or greatly expand the flavor by pairing it with a steak or wild game. Very limited addition for 2010. Serve at cool room temperature.

St. Croix:
St. Croix is the one red wine variety that Elmer Swenson has released to date. It is similar to his white variety, Kay Gray, in that it is hardy, low acid and disease-resistant.
