Description: The Marquette wine features a very complex aroma and flavor profile, offering black current, cherry, black pepper and spice. It also is substantial with tannin. Being a medium bodied dry red wine this grape is a direct descendent of a Pinot Noir and comparisons are often drawn. This wine is also served best at room temperature and has been aged with oak. The Marquette grape is another variety of the University of Minnesota.
