Description: This cold climate French/American hybrid has its heritage in the Pinot-Noir grape. Our wine exhibits cherry and black currant flavors with integrated notes of blackberries, pepper, plum, tobacco, leather, spice and a slight hint of vanilla. Aged in French Oak. Pairs well with Pizza and other red sauce dishes.

Marquette, formerly MN1211, is a high sugar and moderate acidity red wine grape. It has an open orderly growth habit. University of Minnesota indicates that its resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and black rot has been very good.
