Blowing Rock Summer Ale Wine Details
Price:

Description: Blowing Rock Summer Ale is brewed in style of a Belgian White, or Witbier.Typical of the style, the product is fermented with a Belgian "wit" yeast strain. This hazy ale is characterized by a grain bill of pale malts and white wheat. The kettle hopping is signature Czech Saaz, and late kettle additions of orange peel and coriander spice further accentuate this highly enjoyable summer ale.

Varietal Definition
Ale:
Ale is beer that is brewed using only top-fermenting yeasts, and is typically fermented at higher temperatures than lager beer (15–23°C, 60–75°F). At these temperatures, ale yeasts produce significant amounts of esters and other secondary flavours and aromas, often resembling those of apple, pear, pineapple, grass, hay, banana, plum or prune.
