Blowing Rock High Country Ale

Blowing Rock High Country Ale Wine Details
Price:

Description: This American style Ale is fermented with a proprietary ale yeast strain that provides a distinct fruity-ester aroma and flavor. The deep golden product is characterized by a balanced hop bitterness and evident but not overwhelming hops aroma. The kettle hopping is derived from American Cascade & Centennial hops, with generous dry hopping during post-fermentation aging.

Varietal Definition
Ale:
Ale is beer that is brewed using only top-fermenting yeasts, and is typically fermented at higher temperatures than lager beer (15–23°C, 60–75°F). At these temperatures, ale yeasts produce significant amounts of esters and other secondary flavours and aromas, often resembling those of apple, pear, pineapple, grass, hay, banana, plum or prune.
