Description: Use of an exclusive yeast strain and a higher fermentation temperature produce Short’s version of a California Common Ale. This unique brew is a beautiful golden color with a body slightly bigger than a lager. The brew is extracted from two-row pale malt, and then aggressively hopped to result in a flavor that is bold, yet light enough to be refreshing.

Varietal Definition
Ale:
Ale is beer that is brewed using only top-fermenting yeasts, and is typically fermented at higher temperatures than lager beer (15–23°C, 60–75°F). At these temperatures, ale yeasts produce significant amounts of esters and other secondary flavours and aromas, often resembling those of apple, pear, pineapple, grass, hay, banana, plum or prune.
