a semi-dry red wine made from Buffalo grapes. It has a marvelous grape aroma. Best served with beef, pasta, or with any dark chocolate. The 2008 and 2009 vintages are currently available.

Buffalo:
Buffalo (Herbert xWatkins) From Cornell University's Geneva, New York experiment station. Blue-black, slipskin, with berries much like Concord in appearance, but on smaller clusters. Flavor is fruity and spicey, with less of the labrusca flavor than most American varieties.
