COMB 9 Gin is our contribution to the history of gin. We start with the essence of the honey spirit used in our vodka, and gently redistill it with selected botanicals to give COMB 9 a floral nose and a refreshing finish. While most gins are made with grain based alcohol, we are the only gin made with distilled honey that gives COMB 9 a unique smoothness.
Why do we call our gin COMB 9? Well, it could be that it took 9 different recipes until we were satisfied, or because there are 9 different botanicals used in COMB 9, or maybe because we scribbled a 9 on the 9th proof of our label and it was printed by mistake. Whichever it is, try COMB 9 Gin neat at room temperature to experience all its flavor and complexity and then enjoy it in a martini, in an old favorite cocktail or experiment with something new. Varietal Definition
Gin:
Gin is a spirit flavoured with juniper berries. Distilled gin is made by redistilling white grain spirit and raw cane sugar which has been flavoured with juniper berries. Compound gin is made by flavouring neutral grain spirit with juniper berries without redistilling and can be considered a flavoured vodka.
