Description: Inspired from a conversation with good friend and editor of the Great Lakes Brewing News, Bill Metzger, Brewmaster Steve blended a Belgian Amber Ale with 120# of Michigan Harmony peaches from Husteds Farm Market in a merlot cask. 4 wild yeast fermentations later and yet another cask aging results in an exquisite sour peach ale.

Ale:
Ale is beer that is brewed using only top-fermenting yeasts, and is typically fermented at higher temperatures than lager beer (15–23°C, 60–75°F). At these temperatures, ale yeasts produce significant amounts of esters and other secondary flavours and aromas, often resembling those of apple, pear, pineapple, grass, hay, banana, plum or prune.
