Christian Brothers Brandy

Christian Brothers Brandy Wine Details
Price:

Description: Distilled in the United States since 1882, Christian Brothers is the only American Brandy which uses the same time-honored pot still production method used with fine Cognacs. This process yields a superb, rich flavor enhanced by years of aging in oak casks, which has made it the number one or two brandy in most markets. Christian Brothers Brandy is available in VS, VSOP, XO and Frost White bottlings.

Varietal Definition
Brandy :
Brandy (from brandywine, derived from Dutch brandewijn — “burnt wine”) is a spirit produced by distilling wine, the wine having first been produced by fermenting grapes. Brandy contains 36%–60% alcohol by volume and is normally consumed as an after-dinner drink. While some brandies are aged in wooden casks, most are coloured with caramel colouring to imitate the effect of such aging. Brandy can also be made from fermented fruit (i.e., other than grapes) and from pomace.
