Description:
A beautiful white wine that honors the long Portuguese
family history that my wife Gloria and I share in common.
Gloria’s family the Duarte’s and my mother’s family, the
Olivera’s, comes from both the main land and the Madeira Islands. Only a handful of vineyards that we know, grow this grape in California. This Verdelho has a very light integrated oak presence not to overcome the simply delightful honeysuckle taste. The aroma of peaches, pears, and apples all make for an exquisite experience. Yet as with all Vezér wines you are suprised that a wine this smooth is not that sweet, it actually finishes off similar to the better known and popular Pinot Grigio.
