Description:
As elegant as the mythological princess who this wine is named for- Io is a graceful combination of Syrah, Mourvédre and Grenache from three highly regarded Santa Barbara County vineyards. The wine is beautifully concentrated and well balanced with aromas of blackberry, dark plum, blueberry and white and black pepper accented by cedar, nutmeg and allspice. Highly concentrated with rich flavors of plums, black current and mineral that continue on through its opulent, resonating finish.
