Description:
We fermented and settled this wine in stainless steel tank to retain the bright, fresh fruit flavors that the vintage gave us. Before bottling, we made our final blend with some barrel aged chardonnay (for character) and a splash of gewurztraminer (3% for an exotic note).
The 04 Clovis Point Chardonnay was bottled in May 2005 and has developed smoothness and subtlety since then. We recommend this fruit rich wine with the East End’s freshest fish and farmstand vegetable dishes.
