Description:
With the 2001 vintage we introduced a new blend in a beloved winery favorite, our first Passito dessert wine, based on the most extravagant hand-crafting tradition. The grapes are carefully hand-selected and air-dried for 4 months before gentle pressing. A slow and cool fermentation over 6 months, followed by 18 months of barrel aging, produces an intensely luscious concentration of flavors and aromas, in a still elegantly balanced and alluringly fresh, long-finishing wine.
