Description: 100% hand-picked Pinot Gris, from the Umpqua appellation of Oregon. The cool, marine-influenced microclimate of the Umpqua creates a blend of ripe flavors and balanced acidity. Ideal harvest conditions from an older, low yield site. Apt to age well for up to 2 years, maturing in the next 6 to 9 months. A perfect match with seafoods of all types, and refreshing on its own as well.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
