Description:
The 2003 vintage was one that demanded patience, which would prove to pay off at harvest when a late pick yielded promising fruit with well developed flavors and smooth tannins. This is the second vintage of the Russian River Pinot Noir that Steve has undertaken from the now 11 year old Wente Clone vines. The Russian River AVA was established in 1983 and spans nearly 96,000 acres of land running from Santa Rosa, north to Healdsburg and west to the coastal hills near the Pacific Ocean.
The Reynolds Family Russian River Pinot Noir , made in the Old World Burgundian style is an inviting wine with dark fruit aromas of black cherry, currant, raspberry with a hint of truffles. This classic Pinot Noir has a supple and lengthy finish.
