Jacquelynn Syrah

Jacquelynn Syrah Wine Details
Price:

Description: A New World Syrah in terms of weight, opulence and fruit concentration, this wine also achieves a classic structure and an ultra- rich finish. The main thrust of this wine is of ripe blue fruits and wild blueberry while still displaying the more typical Syrah characteristics of flint, meatiness, and toast. This limited release was sourced from vineyards just north of Chateau Boswell off of the Silverado Trail in Calistoga. The entire vineyard is farmed organically, with nearly half of the block young vines with stellar potential, utilizing grafts from some of the Napa Valley's first Syrah clones. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, and neither filtered nor fined.
