It was produced from vines grown one mountain range away from the Pacific ocean where they are protected from coastal fog, yet benefit from the ocean's cooling effect. The wine is dry and full-bodied, with abundant fruit and subtle oak flavors. It is ready to drink now but can benefit from cellaring.
