Description:
We feel this wine is grand expression of Pinot Blanc! Crisp, mineral-like acids and bright fruit are the rewards of longer hang time in the vineyards. Typical for this vintage, the 2003 Pinot Blanc has a nice structure to it that is balanced by its beautiful soft, round texture.
In the glass, an enticing golden green color leads to aromas of canned pear and cinnamon. Layers of rich fruit and mineral lead into a long and luscious finish.
100% barrel aging in French oak for 8 months along with 100% malolactic fermentation rounds out the wine and enhances its already luxurious, velvety texture.
