This 100% varietal Syrah is blended from three distinctly different vineyards in Sonoma Valley.
With phenomenal depth, complexity and richness, this wine is not for the faint of heart!
Forward, focused aromas of anisette, Chinese camphor and smoked deli meat take center stage while hints of gardenia float in the background. In the mouth, these aromas carry through all the way to the long, lengthy finish.
This powerful wine is so heavy and rich that the mouthfeel is almost viscous. It will complement equally weighty foods such as cassoulet, rack of lamb, or strong, flavorful cheeses such as Stilton or bleu.
