Description: 100% Baco Noir, a French-American hybrid grape. This wine has been aged in stainless steel tanks for a period of eight to nine months, creating an exceptionally smooth, easy drinking wine. It is particulary fruit forward in style with notes of cherry, plum and fig.

Baco Noir:
BA french-american hybrid grape used to make an intense red wine regarded by some as a good substitute for Cabernet Sauvignon . Capable of aging, its origins trace to the Folle Blanche and a native American strain of grape. Extensively grown in the cool northern regions of N. America.

This is a really unique wine - something a little more extra ordinary than your regular red table wine. It is a very smooth medium->full bodied wine; full of fruit and the finish is a bit spicy - reminisant of a shiraz. And for less than $10, an incredible bargain.
