This wine is made in a style that expresses what fully ripe mountain Cabernet can offer. Deep, dark blackberry and cassis framed by toasty oak are followed with notes of sage, anise, earth, and cedar.
Concentrated and full bodied, flavors of wild berry and spice meld with supple, mouth coating tannin to create a lingering impression that invites another sip. This wine drinks great right now but true to our Mount Veeder vineyards, it will continue to improve over the next decade.
