Description:
Riesling enjoys cooler temperatures throughout the vinification process to retain its delicate floral and white peach aromas and flavors. Immediately following crush, Beringer’s winemakers chilled the juice and continued with a long, slow fermentation to extract the subtle nuances of flavors from the elusive Riesling grape. Just before the wine reached dryness, temperatures were further lowered, enhancing the length and finish and rounding out the wine. The result is a bright, crisp wine, popping with fresh peach and jasmine flavors, highlighted with hints of orange blossom and baking spice.
