Description:
All three of our Reserve chardonnays are whole cluster pressed, cold settled, barrel fermented in French oak, and aged on the lees for 8-10 months. This is the one and only traditional method to produce great chardonnay. Crisp acidity, and a layered, mineral-laced honeysuckle-scented and flavored personality with hints of orange marmalade, pears, ripe apples, and butter. The 2004 has a steely nerve center and is very well delineated. Drink it over the next 3-5 years.
