Tyee’s Pinot gris, Willamette Valley

Tyee’s Pinot gris, Willamette Valley Wine Details
Price: $12.99 per bottle

Description: Tyee Pinot gris 2003 has ripe citrus, apple, and melon flavors with notes of honey and smoke. Its dry, crisp finish makes it an excellent companion to Northwest cuisine, especially wild salmon and other fresh seafood. Our grapes are ripened to perfection at two premium Willamette Valley vineyards: Beaver Creek Vineyard at Tyee and Temperance Hill Vineyards in the Eola Hills. Production was limited to 650 cases produced.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
