Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio Wine Details
Price: $15.00 per bottle

Description: 2000 Harvest Pinot Grigio is a copper colored grape that yields a white wine. The grapes are left to hang on the vine until the skins soften and begin to burst, and then the fresh juice is pressed directly to oak barrels for fermentation and aging. The toasted staves of oak produce a rich, buttery wine with flavors of honey, pineapple, & vanilla with a hint of sweetness. Enjoy this wine with everything!

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
