Description: Chancellor is an opulent barrel-aged red wine, bursting with raspberry, and blackcherry that complex into a beautiful nose with a hint of oak. Blackcherry, ripe raspberries, and blackberry flavors combine with a medium-strong tannin backbone that tails into a medium-long finish. Serve this wine at room temperature with heartier fare, such as game, red meats, and flavorful sauces.

Varietal Definition
Chancellor:
A french-american hybrid with origins in the Rhone Valley of France. Was widely grown and very popular in France where it was used to produce high quality red and rose' wines. Now being replaced by varieties stipulated by E.U. rules. Also grown in the cooler regions of Eastern U.S. and Canada.
