Windy Winery is a new winery but has taken 24 years to build the foundation. Our vision is to build an attractive future for our winery. We want to set the benchmark for excellent wines. However, we realize that there will always be room for improvement! We are sure that our job will never be completely over.

Brenham Blush
The finest grapes were selected to create this sweet fruity blush wine. Brenham Blush has a sweet finish, but on the palate it has a pleasant spiciness and tannins with a gentle grip.

Chardonnay
Elegant yet full flavored describes our Chardonnay wine consisting of citrus and grapefruit characters the fresh lifted aromas of grapefruit and nectarine still dominate the bouquet.

Dave’s
Dave's is a light, easy drinking red wine with juicy fruit flavor and soft finish. Dave's has a sweet finish, but on the palate it has a pleasant spiciness and tannins with a gentle grip.

Desert Rose
Desert Rose is a delicate wine with a haunting memory of nectarines and an aroma of rosebuds

Independence Red
This is a delicious blend of Pinot Noir and Merlot which gives a savory and spicy finish.
This wine is a good one to select just to relax with out on the patio after a long hard day at the office!

Merlot
Our Merlot tends to be soft, fruity smooth in texture, tannin levels are lower and has wonderful aroma of violets; currant; black cherry; plum and the flavors of bell pepper; green olive; caramel. For those just getting into red wines our Merlot is the perfect wine. Serve slightly below room temperature.

Saucy Red
Our Saucy Red wine is made from Black Spanish Grapes & was created to serve while sitting on the patio relaxing after a long hard day at work, now kick back take that first sip and then suddenly you start having visions of BBQ … no maybe a large bowl of chili … or was it a hot spicy Tex-Mex dinner. Enjoy your vision!

Tejas Port
2005 Vintage, Black Spanish grapes Washington County Texas, Aged in American/French Oak Barrels
Tejas Port is made from the Black Spanish Grape that the Padre's brought over from Spain which was planted and flourished in the wild Texas landscape.
Tejas Port is a traditional Port wine which is a dry dark red, smooth rich mellow style that exhibits hints of chocolate, caramel, dried plums and black currant flavors which is not found in other red wines.
Tejas Port is excellent as an aperitif, or dessert wine.

Yellow Rose
Blanc du Bois grapes selected for Yellow Rose exhibits a flavor similar to a nice clean crisp Riesling with flavors of peach, pear, pineapple and other tropical fruit. Yellow Rose is often enjoyed as a pre-dinner drink or a perfect addition to a light dinner.
