Edge of the Earth Vineyards is one of B. C.'s smallest family-owned wineries dedicated to producing handmade wines of distinction.
In the North Okanagan Valley, roughly 30 km from Vernon, B. C., the vineyard embraces a gently rolling southwest-facing hillside. The glacial deposits of mineral-rich sand, laid down on what were the ancestral shores of Okanagan Lake, extend hundreds of feet below the vines. Acting as a giant heat sink, the sand traps the warmth of long, hot summer days. This glaciofluvial medium lends superb complexity and character to the grapes here. Wells on the property supply pure water to the vines, used judiciously to provide the third element essential to growing grapes of unique quality and character.
