12.05 Distillery

Named after the date prohibition was repealed, 12.05 (Twelve Oh Five) Distillery celebrates our right to legally drink quality spirits. No more bathtub gin, 12.05 uses modern equipment and an experienced master distiller to produce unique and smooth liquors for your enjoyment.
The 20-plate copper system allows a wider variety of liquor to be distilled. In addition, the copper helps remove harsh sulfur compounds from the distillate. The system is artfully operated by experienced distiller, Brad Colver, to assure high quality spirits. Colver is an Indiana native who spent several years in Colorado at Breckenridge Distillery and Peach Street Distillery.
12.05 Distillery and Repeal Restaurant are located at 636 Virginia Ave. in the former Virginia Avenue State Bank. Complete with the original terra cotta exterior, the building was built in 1924 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Repeal Restaurant will open in late April/early May 2015 and will offer small-plate food paired with signature cocktails made from 12.05 distillery offerings.
