The goal of Perseus Winery is to produce approachable wines of character and distinction from some of British Columbia’s finest vineyards.
In addition to the grapes from Lower Bench Vineyard at the winery site, we have carefully selected exceptional vineyards in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys that perfectly match our idea of producing distinctive wines that accurately reflect the best terroir in the Province. Grape quality is essential for us. We use the best grapes to produce the best wine possible in each of our price categories. So Perseus always offers best quality for the value. As we grow, we will continue to incorporate further select vineyards into our portfolio.
Since we have sites all around the Okanagan and Similkameen Valley’s, our harvest is spread out from the beginning of September until the end of October each year. As each select grape lot is brought in, we crush and ferment each lot separately and then run them into barrels or small tanks. We keep each lot independent from the others through the following winter.
