Seventeen Twelve Spirits

Seventeen Twelve Spirits The Distillery is nestled away in the rolling Foothill’s of North Carolina, which has become known as the moonshining capital of the World. Many accredit the roots of NASCAR to bootleggers whom out paced the law with their enhanced cars carrying outlawed, tax-free white lightning. These bootleggers burnt their tires making deliveries on the very same roads that residents of the Foothill’s now travel on a daily basis. Foothill’s Distillery established in 2013 with a dream of bringing a true taste of the South through every batch. While turning this dream into a reality, we visited legal distilleries and known moonshiner’s to truly view all perspectives on processes and recipes used by distillers of all backgrounds. Using grains eloped from the soil of North Carolina; we handcraft every batch to develop high quality whiskey. |

This is a play by play review of the new Rebellious Southern Spirits Carolina Whiskey. Gatling 110. Tonight I went to my local abc store. The manager a friend said they had a new moonshine just in today. I ask to see it. He showed me a batch #1 bottle 00010 of Rebellious Southern Spirits Carolina Whiskey. Gatling 110. I had to try it. Now 28 bucks a bottle is a bit higher that the Midnight Moon I buy. But I had to see how that was. Shake bottle very good beed. 110 proof about right. Open bottle smell great. 5 stars. Awesome smell, just the right burn to make you want a taste poured two. Wilks Co shots. "About 4.5 regular shots" first shot. Good burn. No gasp? Nice kick and burn going down. Shot of cold water. Burn gone. Wait a couple minutes shot two. Burn is less than first kick is about half. I waited 20 minutes poured two more shots. Burn was not bad and kick was so so. Shot four was ok burn was soft. "Maybe I burned out my throat" but it was not there. "At lest to me" " but I am a Johnson with Wills Co blood" ok so I had to try again a fifth shot. By now I feel the others seeking up on me! Burn gone no kick at all. To the makers I would give you a full 5 stars but the price of over $28 a jar if just a little high. I give you 4 stars. You make a good shine. The Sons of the South would be proud to sip it! Good work. Paul Johnson High Point
