Cinquain Cellars is one of Paso's newer wineries. Taste why Robert Parker, Jr. calls their 2006 Syrah, "delicious and sexy" and why the 2006 Reserve Meritage was awarded 94 points, a Gold Medal, and Best of Class of Region at the California State Fair. They also were recently awarded TWO Best of Class designations at the prestigious 2011 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition for their estate-grown Malbec and their Independence Red, Bordeaux Blend.
They are open to the public during Zinfandel Festival Weekend March 16 - March 18 from 12 to 4 p.m. All tastings are complimentary and pets are welcome too. They are only open 7 weekends per year so this is a great weekend to visit without having to make an appointment.
