We are a boutique winery combining meticulous winemaking practices with a genuine love of the land and support for the North Carolina wine community. Our medal winning Boudeaux style wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and our signiture blend, Maestro. We also offer two styles of Chardonnay.

Coming from the West (45 Minutes from Asheville):
Take I-40 East - Exit 94 Dysartsville Rd. / Lake James.
Turn Left - Go North 0.5 miles to US-70 West.
Turn left onto US Highway 70 – Go 1.6 miles
Turn left onto Muddy Creek Road (Small store/gas on left, white brick building.)
Go 1.9 miles on Muddy Creek/Gilbert Byrd where South Creek Road splits right.
Go straight on South Creek 0.7 miles and we are on the left.
End at 2240 South Creek Road, Nebo, NC 28761
Coming from the East (30 Minutes from Hickory):
Take I-40 West - Exit 94 Dysartsville Rd. / Lake James .
Turn Right - Go North 0.5 miles to US-70 West.
Turn left onto US Highway 70 – Go 1.6 miles
Turn left onto Muddy Creek Road (Small store/gas on left, white brick building.)

Cabernet Franc
Our 2005 Cabernet Franc is fruit forward, with a bouquet of cherry and is medium bodied with a finish of smooth tannins. This medium body wine has complexity and fruit attributes showing the benefits of aging over twelve months in a combination of new and neutral oak barrels.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is well structured with layers of fruit that bring to mind black cherry, hints of dark chocolate and blackberry. This wine finishes with aromas and flavors framed by smooth tannins. Aged fifteen months in small French oak barrels.

Chardonnay
Captures the fresh medium bodied characteristics of Chardonnay by utilizing slow cool fermentation. Aging is carefully monitored to achieve a balanced flavor of creamy pear, citrus and melon flavors.

Chardonnay Reserve
Our reserve chardonnay is barrel fermented with an eligant style, offering subtle fig, melon ripe pear and toasty oak flavors, finishes with a creamy buttery aftertaste.

Maestro
Our 2005 Maestro is the best of the best. We choose the best barrels to blend a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc into a harmony of attributes that give us a wine that earns our highest rated name. The 2005 Maestro is layered with aromas of dark fruits and undercurrents of chocolate, rose petal and just a hint of coffee on the finish. All supported by smooth tannin. All wines chosen for the Maestro blend were aged fifteen months in new and neutral small oak barrels. Only 25 cases available.
